Job summary

Vertex is seeking a Medical Lead for clinical trials to serve as the primary Medical Monitor, overseeing safety and scientific integrity across development programs. The role requires directing study protocols, regulatory documents, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure regulatory compliance and robust scientific reporting.

The candidate will lead safety oversight, provide input on analysis plans, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for clinical strategy and reporting.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent required.
• Approximately 8+ years of clinical or research experience in academic or industry settings.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and regulatory interaction skills.
