Qualifications

• PhD in Biomedical Informatics or related field is required or an MD/ MS with relevant training.
• Strong potential for scholarly productivity in clinical data science is preferred.
• Experience building independent, funded research programs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Establish an externally funded research program focused on clinical data science.
• Collaborate across Stony Brook Medicine, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and other university units.
• Contribute to graduate teaching and mentor students and trainees.
• Provide service to the department, school, university and professional community.
