Job summary

Bridges of America in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Counselor to join the Clinical team at the Orlando Bridge CRC/TC location. You will follow policy, maintain documentation, and facilitate phase-based group sessions while providing case management and emergency counseling as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, Anthropology, Economics, American Ethnic Studies, Criminal Justice or Criminology).
• Two years of professional experience in chemical addictions, substance abuse, and/or mental health counseling, or a Bachelor's in an unrelated field with required experience.
• Three years of professional experience in chemical addictions, substance abuse, and/or mental health counseling.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and procedures per job description.
• Complete and maintain clinical documentation per policy.
• Facilitate Phase I, II, and III groups per program manuals.
• Complete case management on each client as necessary.
• Attend staff meetings and mandatory trainings.
• Be available for emergency counseling sessions and shift coverage.
