Qualifications

• Language skills: ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Reasoning ability: ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and assessment for substance abuse disorders.
• Counsel clients individually and in group sessions to assist in overcoming alcohol and drug dependency.
• Document client participation and chart incidents and collateral contacts as required.
• Prepare and maintain reports and case histories; participate in weekly staff meetings and daily huddles.
