Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold current SUD Counselor registration or be enrolled in an approved certification program.
• High School diploma or GED.
• For behavioral health pre-licensed: must obtain BBS registration and maintain current status.

Responsibilities

• Role model healthy and ethical behaviors, including HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain a primary caseload of residents/participants and advocate for their needs.
• Develop and evaluate treatment plans for each resident/participant.
• Update treatment plans as appropriate and document services clearly and timely.
• Maintain documentation according to regulatory standards and agency policies.
• Facilitate utilization of service units and assist with benefits applications.
• Maintain professional relationships with families, community members and professionals.
• Attend required staff meetings and trainings and participate in on-site/off-site activities.
• Contribute to a safe, alcohol/drug-free environment and perform other duties as assigned.
