Centerpoint - Versailles is seeking a Clinical Coordinator (RN) in Surgery. The role involves direct patient care within an operating/offsite setting, coordinating staff and schedules, and driving performance improvements.

The position emphasizes no weekends or holidays, a Monday–Friday day schedule, and a $10,000 sign-on with a 2-year commitment. Qualified candidates will hold an RN license with 1–2 years in Surgery and 2–4 years of critical care experience preferred, plus BLS; ACLS preferred.

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff scheduling, education/development, and performance evaluations.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting delivery of clinical services and patient flow.
• Perform quality assurance studies and assist with QA/QI initiatives.
• Serve as a resource to staff regarding clinical standards and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with accreditation, legal, and Joint Commission requirements.
• Provide direct patient care as needed within scope.

$10,000 Sign On Bonus, 2 year commitment

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7a-3:30p

No Call, No Weekends, No holidays

Our general surgery staff consists of expert surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and technicians all dedicated to performing successful operations and promoting comfortable healing and recovery. Our most common surgical services consist of endo, ortho, and pain procedures. Due to the high volume of outpatient procedures, our surgery staff do not work weekends or holidays.

• 7 Pre/Op Infusion Rooms
• 2 OR Suites
• 1 Endo Suite
• 1 PACU Bay

How you'll contribute

Our Clinical Coordinator RN'sprovide direct patient care using the nursing process and supports unit coordination activities to promote safe, high-quality outcomes. Serves as a resource to staff and assists with scheduling, education, and performance initiatives.

As a Clinical Coordinator RN you will:

• Coordinate staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting delivery of clinical services and patient flow.
• Perform quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of QA/QI initiatives.
• Serve as a resource to staff and external contacts regarding clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor departmental compliance with accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission requirements.
• Provide direct patient care as needed in accordance with scope and standards of practice.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provide quality patient care and work other shifts/units as needed; may be assigned on-call.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• 1-2 years minimum experience as a Surgery RN- must be experienced in circulation, PreOp, PACU & Infusion
• 2-4 years critical care experience preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Handle with Care preferred
