Position Summary

• Coordinate staff scheduling, education, and performance evaluations.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting clinical services.
• Perform quality assurance studies and support QA/QI initiatives.
• Serve as a resource on patient care, flow, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor departmental compliance with accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission standards.
• Assume call duties as scheduled, with split responsibilities among Coordinators.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing (required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• KY RN licensure or compact licensure (required)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (within 7 days of hire)
• Handle with care certification within 30 days of hire
• Prefer National Certification in area of specialty or within 2 years of hire
