Job summary

Froedtert Health’s Manitowoc facility seeks a clinical coordinator pharmacist with leadership responsibilities in patient care and operations. You will lead practice advancement, ensure staffing based on workload, and address policy or operational issues with your team.

Requirements include 1+ year in the specialty, 3+ years preferred, BS in Pharmacy or PharmD, and Wisconsin licensure. On-site, 40-hour weeks, shift 4, with 10-hour shifts and holiday/weekend criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License or eligibility with 3 months to obtain.
• PGY1 Residency preferred for Oncology Pharmacy positions.
• Leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Shift Details:

• 10 hour shifts
• Holidays: Two per year
• Weekends: Every third

Job Summary:

In addition to direct patient care responsibilities, the clinical coordinator provides leadership for clinical practice and operational efficiency within their area of specialization. The lead serves as an extension of their leader to promote clinical practice advancement, ensure adequate staffing based on workload, resolve policy or operational issues, develop and assess pharmacist competence, and ensure patient care needs are met by their respective team. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Minimum of one year of experience in area of specialty is required. Three or more years of experience in area of specialty is preferred. Previous leadership experience is preferred. PGY1 residency is preferred for Oncology Pharmacist positions.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE certified school of pharmacy or a Pharm. D. is required. Successful completion of ASHP PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program and/or PGY2 Specialty Pharmacy Residency Program is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Demonstrates effective use of computers and applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Outlook) as appropriate to practice and communication effectively. Active membership in the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (PSW) is preferred. Active membership in the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and/or other national Pharmacy organizations as approved by Pharmacy Administration is preferred.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License is required or eligible for and must obtain within 3 months.
