Provides direct line management and leadership for all Structural Heart patient care areas. Ensures proper standards are followed for nursing practice and provides interface between the support services and clinical services. Facilitates care delivery system development and operation, including but not limited to staffing and professional delivery of services. Must be present for twenty percent of staffing needs as they arise.

Job Description

The Nursing Clinical Coordinator is a seasoned nurse, able to assess, create and implement new innovating resources that will meet the needs of care team members. Minimum Training and Education

Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing and three years related nursing experience; BSN preferred. Previous Ambulatory Care experience preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
