Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care in the Cath Lab setting under general supervision. This role includes the nursing process, collaboration with the health care team, and delivering safe, effective care.

Minimum education is an associate degree in nursing with a bachelor’s preferred; SC nursing licensure or compact state; BLS and ACLS required.

Minimum Training and Education

Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
