Medical University of South Carolina Health is seeking a Nursing Clinical Coordinator to lead Medical/Telemetry care areas and implement innovative resources for care teams. The role includes staffing management, standards compliance, and interfacing with support services to optimize care delivery.
The incumbent must be present for about 20% of staffing needs as they arise. The position requires an associate's degree in nursing, with a bachelor1 degree preferred, and SC RN licensure with BLS;

Provides direct line management and leadership for all Medical/Telemetry patient care areas. Ensures proper standards are followed for nursing practice and provides interface between the support services and clinical services. Facilitates care delivery system development and operation, including but not limited to staffing and professional delivery of services. Must be present for twenty percent of staffing needs as they arise.

Minimum Training and Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) also required for most nursing areas within the hospital. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required.
