Job summary

Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas is seeking a Full Time Clinical Coordinator at NVCLC - 19th Road, Arlington, VA. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a human services field and involves coordinating clinical services for individuals with developmental disabilities, supervising Residential Coordinators, and maintaining 24/7 responsibility for assigned homes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field, and at least one year of experience working with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Must be able to work a 40 hour weekly flex schedule in an effort to meet the demands of the individuals in the home.
• Participate in weekend on-call rotation.
• Attend training activities, meetings, and routine supervision with the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical services to include: Person-Centered Plans, medical appointments, assessments and consultations, new admissions, Behavioral Support Services, and data collection in clinical records.
• Provide direct supervision to the Residential Coordinators and maintain 24/7 responsibility for assigned homes.
• Work as a member of the Leadership Team to ensure quality of services and alignment with agency policies and state licensing standards.
