Job Description

Clinical Consultant (Xper IM)

Support the Xper IM Clinical Education (Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology) Training Team for NA* by providing basic through intermediate application training in hospitals and clinics throughout the zone. You will conduct workflow analyses on customer sites and make recommendations to the customer for changes to their workflow in anticipation of the system. You will serve in a consultative role, regarding all clinical decisions throughout the implementation project.

Your role:

  • Serving in a consultative role with the customer throughout the implementation, to provide for a smooth, effective and successful implementation of the product in the customer environment
  • Providing clinical training courses for customers and/or employees, in the use of complex situations for multiple products, while developing specifications for content of courses
  • Identifying potential issues at customer sites and investigating customer issues by working closely with Technical Support service personnel. Reviewing feedback from customers, compiling and analyzing support data and recommend procedural and training changes as appropriate
  • Preparing weekly reports for administration on all aspects of the applications training operations
  • Attending seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain the appropriate level of professional competence. Maintain a high level of professionalism when addressing the customer
  • Traveling up to 85% by car and air, to customer sites in United States, Canada and Puerto Rico

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science, Business Administration, or Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
  • Required: Advanced certification in at least one of the following: Cardiovascular interventional radiology (CV), Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI),Vascular interventional radiography (VI): We will also accept candidates who are RTs with a registry with CCI in RCIS or RCES.(Must have one of the above tobe considered)
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in the assigned modality or two years of experience in a field applications role (Cath or IR) and 1+ year as a trainer or analyst for clinical software preferred
  • Ability to diagnose complex customer issues and drive for resolution cross-functionally
  • Extensive overnight travel required (80%) throughout the Zone. Some weekend travel and international travel is also required
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

The pay range for this position in AZ, AR, ID, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, NE, NM, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT, or WV is $83,000 to $133,000.

The pay range for this position in AL, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, TX, VT, VA, WI, or WY is $88,000 to $140,400.

The pay range for this position in AK, DE, MD, NY, RI, or WA is $92,000 to $147,000.

The pay range for this position in CA, CT, DC, MA, or NJ is $98,000 to $157,000.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
