Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Clinical Application Analyst to support clinical system integration projects with a focus on the Cerner EMR platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with IT teams, clinical stakeholders, and vendors to ensure smooth design, build, testing, and implementation of clinical applications across various care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze clinical workflows and translate them into system requirements.
• Perform system configuration, testing, validation, and troubleshooting for Cerner applications.
• Support integration efforts between Cerner and ancillary systems including lab, radiology, pharmacy, and third-party platforms.
• Document functional requirements, system design, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide go-live support and ongoing optimization for implemented solutions.
• Work with clinical end users to gather feedback and provide training as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Application Analyst or similar role in a healthcare IT environment.
• Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems, preferably Cerner.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
• Experience with system testing, validation, and support processes.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Experience (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Cerner Millennium platform and familiarity with the following solutions/modules:
• FirstNet (Emergency)
• PowerChart (General Charting)
• PowerChart Maternity (Women’s Health)
• SurgiNet and Anesthesia Manager (Surgery/Anesthesia)
• PathNet (Laboratory)
• RadNet (Radiology)
• PharmNet (Pharmacy)
• Core/Cerner Security
• Clinical Documentation and Dynamic Documentation
• Orders & Order Sets
• Ambulatory
• Scheduling
• Registration/ADT
• HIM / Charge Services
• Capacity Management
• Device Integration
• Clinical Informatics
• Test Coordination / Integrated Testing
• Previous experience in EMR system upgrades, domain consolidations, or data migrations.
• Familiarity with HL7, interface engines, and integration methodologies.
