Spurwink, partnered with Maine's Department of Health and Human Services, seeks a clinical consultant for OCFS District 5 and Children's Emergency Services. This hybrid role combines in-person district office work with remote collaboration across a statewide Spurwink team, emphasizing wellness, training, and trauma-informed support for staff.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling required.
• Licensed in Maine as an LCSW or LCPC preferred, conditional licenses considered.
• Minimum 3 years in foster care, child welfare and/or mental health.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical consultation to OCFS staff in person or remotely.
• Conduct training and develop training materials for OCFS staff.
• Provide Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) to staff.
• Engage in weekly supervision and on-call rotation (min 4 weeks/yr).
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices in child welfare and trauma.
