Job summary

Lakeshore Technical College seeks a Clinical Compliance Specialist to coordinate and monitor student clinical site requirements across health programs. You will manage clearance processes, liaise with affiliates, students, and internal departments to ensure timely, compliant experiences.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree, 2–3 years of relevant experience, and a focus on accurate, confidential record keeping while supporting regulatory compliance and accreditation needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a related discipline or Business Administration/Business-related field required.
• Two to three years of relevant occupational experience required.
• Experience working in a health organization preferred.
• Experience working with culturally diverse populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage student clinical compliance and clearance requirements for assigned academic programs and clinical sites.
• Work with state agencies to send student information and receive background check reports.
• Interpret background check results and determine outreach to students and clinical site contacts.
• Provide guidance to students and faculty regarding clinical compliance requirements, timelines, and documentation.
• Ensure all required health, background, and compliance documentation is complete and submitted to clinical sites by deadlines.
• Serve as primary contact for clinical sites regarding compliance documentation and clearance verification.
• Review and communicate clinical site compliance requirements to programs and students.
• Troubleshoot compliance issues and escalate complex concerns as needed.
