Job summary

Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw, MI seeks a Chaplain to provide spiritual and emotional care to patients, families, and staff. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to offer ministry of presence, crisis support, and religious services across faiths.

Qualifications include a theology degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s), 1 ACPE unit, and preferred hospital chaplaincy experience. Night shifts, weekends, and holidays are required in this demanding role.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families and staff.
• Ability to provide crisis intervention and spiritual care in diverse settings.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the delivery of pastoral care for patients, families and staff of all faiths.
• Assesses spiritual and emotional needs and supports decision-making.
• Provides prayer, bereavement support and pastoral care in crisis and at end-of-life.
