The NYC Criminal Justice Agency seeks a Clinical Case Manager II to provide intensive case management to individuals involved in the criminal legal system. CJA is a not‑for‑profit service and research organization partnered with the New York City Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice. It is the city’s main pretrial services agency, handling operations, pilot projects and research under one roof. CJA provides procedural justice practices to over 100,000 arrestees annually in New York City and maintains data that is used for research on arrestee characteristics, case processing and court outcomes.
CJA operates a Supervised Release Program in Queens Criminal Court. The program screens targeted defendants for release at arraignment, requiring face‑to‑face and telephone contact, participation in an assessment process, and agreement to court appearance and re‑arrest monitoring.
The Clinical Case Manager II – Intensive Case Management (ICM) reports to the Clinical Supervisor ICM and the Clinical Director of QSR. The role requires a background in social work, psychology or behavioral health and focuses on individuals with complex needs—including serious mental illness, substance use disorders, housing instability and trauma—who are involved in the criminal legal system.
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Days Off: Sunday & Monday). The role requires regular weekend and occasional night shifts as well as flexibility for client visits in homes or community locations. Travel within the five boroughs is required.
Salary: $83,854.
