Job summary

Strive Compounding Pharmacy is hiring a Clinical Care Pharmacist in Mesa, AZ. This full-time role focuses on managing patient and provider communications, ensuring accurate prescription processing, and pre-verification to uphold quality and compliance with Strive SOPs.

Key duties include checking prescriptions for accuracy, performing ingredient calculations, counseling patients, and advising providers on appropriate therapy and dosing for personalized care.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD (required).
• Active AZ Pharmacist license.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Overview

The Clinical Care Pharmacist manages patient and provider communications, ensures accurate prescription processing, and performs pre-verification to uphold quality control and compliance according to Strive Pharmacy SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Checking entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
• Performing calculations to ensure ingredients within a formula are measured and utilized properly
• Managing inbound and outbound communications with patients and providers.
• Counseling patients
• Offering guidance to providers regarding appropriate therapy and dosing for optimal individualized care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Degree
• Active AZ Pharmacist license

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of state laws
• Strong multitasking skills
• Ability to read and apply clinical knowledge
• Experience with call center software

Work Environment
