Job summary

Strive Pharmacy in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Clinical Care Pharmacist to join our patient‑centered team. This onsite role focuses on accurate prescription processing, pre‑verification, and consults with patients and providers to ensure personalized care.

Position Overview

Position Type: Full‑Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Address: 120 W 1st Avenue, Mesa, AZ

The Clinical Care Pharmacist manages patient and provider communications, ensures accurate prescription processing, and performs pre‑verification to uphold quality control and compliance according to Strive Pharmacy SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Check entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
• Perform calculations to ensure ingredients within a formula are measured and utilized properly
• Manage inbound and outbound communications with patients and providers
• Offer guidance to providers regarding appropriate therapy and dosing for optimal individualized care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of state laws
• Ability to read and apply clinical knowledge
• Experience with call center software

This position is primarily based in an onsite work environment. The role requires regular periods of sitting, standing, and computer use, with occasional lifting as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
