Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Clinical Manager to lead on-site clinical operations, ensuring high quality patient care and alignment with organizational goals. The role oversees planning, development, and coordination of care, teams, and processes to support performance and outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have active PA RN licensure (BSN preferred), strong leadership, and experience in home health or hospital settings, with knowledge of federal and state regulations and quality improvement methodology.

Qualifications

• Active PA RN license required (BSN preferred).
• Experience managing clinical teams and coordinating patient care.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations and quality improvement.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for overall clinical operations and service quality.
• Oversee care planning, team coordination and scheduling within policies and budgets.
• Manage staff performance including evaluations and disciplinary actions as appropriate.
• Monitor productivity and ensure service coverage.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of clinical staff.
• Lead after-hours on-call process to support client care policies.
• Lead clinical meetings and case conferences; communicate care needs to staff.
• Ensure care delivery adheres to Plan of Care and payer requirements.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration to implement strategic plans.
