Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for an outpatient clinic in Scottsdale, AZ. This on-site, part-time role supports patient assessments, medication administration, and clinical testing within a collaborative healthcare team.

The position requires an active LPN/LVN license, BLS, and 1+ year of relevant experience, with training provided. Compensation is $37.17 per hour, with clinic schedules typically 7–10 hours and shifts 2–3 weekdays plus every other

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1+ year of related healthcare experience.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER settings.
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccines, and point-of-care testing.
• Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, IV, and topical medications.
• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Identify and document abnormalities in vitals.
• Monitor responses to treatment and document findings.
• Assist with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and POC testing.
• Document medical history, medications, allergies, and surgeries in EMR.
• Conduct medication reviews and flag interactions or side effects.
• Perform mental health screenings and assessments.
• Provide patient education on self-care and disease management.
• Coordinate with healthcare team and community resources.
• Maintain clean, organized, and stocked clinic environment.

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN / LVN) – OUTPATIENT CLINIC | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

Location: Scottsdale, AZ 85260 - 100% on-site

Payrate: $37.17/hr

Required Availability: Part-time| approximately 32-40 hours/week

Schedule & Training Work schedules are created in 6-week blocks following an initial 3-week training/orientation period Typical shifts are 7-10 hours during clinic operating hours Schedule generally includes 2-3 weekdays and every other weekend Some major holiday coverage is required Must be available to complete the initial 3 weeks of training without planned time off May require floating to other nearby clinic locations

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN / LVN) – OUTPATIENT CLINIC | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

This Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN / LVN) – Outpatient Clinic will provide high-quality, patient-facing clinical care in an outpatient clinic setting. This role involves patient assessments, medication administration, clinical testing, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN / LVN) – OUTPATIENT CLINIC | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications
• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs
• Identify and document abnormalities in blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and document clinical findings
• Perform or assist with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Document patient medical history, medications, allergies, surgeries, and other relevant information in the EMR
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential side effects or drug interactions
• Perform mental health screenings, including assessments for depression, mood, behavior, and cognitive function
• Provide patient education related to self-care and disease management
• Help connect patients with appropriate healthcare and community resources
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic environment

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN / LVN) – OUTPATIENT CLINIC | REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• 1+ year of related healthcare experience required
• Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Strong comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-facing outpatient clinic
• Experience with clinical care in an ambulatory setting
