Job summary

A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for an outpatient clinic in Overland Park, KS. This 100% on-site role offers 32–40 hours weekly and a pay rate of $37.17 per hour, with training and 6-week blocks before regular shifts.

Initial 3-week orientation is required, with some weekend coverage and potential float to nearby locations. Benefits begin after 90 days for full-time staff, including health/dental/optical and a 401(k) match for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) with active, unrestricted license
• BLS certification required
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred
• Experience in outpatient primary care, urgent care, or ER settings helpful

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, IV, and topical medications
• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs
• Identify and document abnormalities in BP, HR, respiratory rate, and temperature
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and document findings
• Perform or assist with phlebotomy, vaccines, and point-of-care testing
• Document medical history, medications, allergies, surgeries in EMR
• Review medications for interactions and side effects
• Conduct mental health screenings and related assessments
• Provide patient education on self-care and disease management
• Assist patients in accessing healthcare and community resources
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
• Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment

A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN / LVN) – Outpatient Clinic. This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full-time hours (40+ per week).

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN / LVN) – OUTPATIENT CLINIC | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

Location: Overland Park, KS 66221 - 100% on-site

Payrate: $37.17/hr

Required Availability: Part-time| approximately 32-40 hours/week

Schedule & Training Work schedules are created in 6-week blocks following an initial 3-week training/orientation period Typical shifts are 7-10 hours during clinic operating hours Schedule generally includes 2-3 weekdays and every other weekend Some major holiday coverage is required Must be available to complete the initial 3 weeks of training without planned time off May require floating to other nearby clinic locations

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN / LVN) – OUTPATIENT CLINIC | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications
• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs
• Identify and document abnormalities in blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and document clinical findings
• Perform or assist with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Document patient medical history, medications, allergies, surgeries, and other relevant information in the EMR
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential side effects or drug interactions
• Perform mental health screenings, including assessments for depression, mood, behavior, and cognitive function
• Provide patient education related to self-care and disease management
• Help connect patients with appropriate healthcare and community resources
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic environment

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN / LVN) – OUTPATIENT CLINIC | REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• 1+ year of related healthcare experience required
• Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic EMR
• Strong comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-facing outpatient clinic
• Experience with clinical care in an ambulatory setting
