Job summary

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant diploma or certification or 1+ year experience in medical assisting.
• Active CMA/CCMA/NCMA/RMA/CMAC certification or ability to obtain within 180 days.
• CPR certification preferred or obtain within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Room patients, obtain health history and vital signs.
• Document care using EMR systems.
• Perform phlebotomy, urinalysis and sample handling.
• Administer medications and injections/immunizations.
• Assist providers with minor procedures and point‑of‑care testing.
