Role: Clinical Business Analyst (CBA)
The CBA will work closely with team members, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and clinical stakeholders to gather business requirements and design new standards. This role serves as a subject matter expert on the impact of CISs and the digitization of clinical processes on content, workflows, and procedures.
Requirements
- Education: University degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years as a Clinical Business Analyst or Clinical Informatics Analyst, including requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, and documentation development.
- Minimum 5+ years working with Health Information Systems (EHR/CIS) and healthcare operations.
- Minimum 3+ years on CIS implementation projects in healthcare environments.
- 6+ years in domains such as CPOE, order sets, clinical documentation, or ancillary services (Pharmacy, Laboratory, Medical Imaging).
- Experience facilitating workshops with healthcare providers to gather and define requirements, user stories, or use cases (3+ years).
- Languages: Bilingual in French and English (verbal and written) is strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage confidently with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple project streams or tasks simultaneously (5+ years).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Teams) (5+ years).
- Experience using Atlassian JIRA in a project environment (2+ years).
- Previous experience working within public health authorities is an asset.
