The Business Analyst is responsible for designing and generating reports, dashboards, and visualizations for business operations. They analyze trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights and maintain data integrity, accuracy, and consistency in reporting. The incumbent must utilize SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics tools to extract and manipulate data; conduct statistical analysis to support data-driven decision-making; and translate complex data into concise, easy-to-understand reports for stakeholders.
The Business Analyst assists in the development, implementation, and optimization of business information systems. They maintain data structures, queries, and reporting tools to support business needs, working closely with IT teams to ensure data availability and system functionality. Additionally, they document business processes, data sources, and reporting methodologies, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements for data collection, storage, and analysis methods, collaborating with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and IT to meet reporting needs.
