Job summary

Brainlab is seeking a Biomedical Engineer (Clinical Specialist) to provide on-site consulting to physicians and OR staff, optimize Brainlab product usage, and manage installations. You will analyze issues, train hospital teams, and drive adoption through tailored workflows and support.

A strong technical background in biomedical engineering and healthcare familiarity is essential. The role involves collaboration with sales, applications, and regional teams to ensure optimal patient care outcomes

Qualifications

BS in Biomedical Engineering or related field required.
1–3 years in a technical support role (healthcare preferred).
1–2 years sales experience with healthcare customers preferred.
Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy and medical terminology preferred.
Proficient with PC software including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site consulting and guidance to physicians and OR personnel during surgery to maximize Brainlab product efficiency and usage.
Manage and maintain install base, including basic 3rd party integrations.
Analyze and resolve product issues for Brainlab systems via Salesforce with detailed analysis and documentation.
Educate/train physicians and hospital personnel on the use of Image Guided Surgery products and services.
Develop and conduct training programs for hospital staff enabling in-house training.
Act as primary customer liaison, maintaining contact with customer and recommending on usage improvements.
