The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando VA Healthcare System, seeks a Staff Health Technician (Audiology) to support the Audiology & Speech Pathology Service across clinical and patient care areas in upcoming sites. The incumbent works under the supervision of a Senior Audiologist and may be referred pending credential/licensure completion.

Qualifications include U.S. citizenship, English proficiency, and equivalent experience or education as described, with emphasis on preparing

• U.S. citizenship required.
• English language proficiency (spoken and written).
• Six months of related experience or educational equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with audiology testing procedures.
• Prepare patients for testing and care procedures.
• Document and code patient procedures.
• Educate patients and families about hearing health and care plans.
