Job summary

Under supervision of Operations Director, you will educate patients, maintain records, stay compliant with HIPAA and regulatory standards, and participate in quality improvement and continuing

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Audiology required.
• Arizona Audiologist license required.
• Minimum two years clinical audiology experience preferred.
• HIPAA compliance knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Define patient hearing impairment and balance disorders through physician collaboration, diagnostic testing, and interpretation of audiometric data.
• Administer electrophysiological and other relevant diagnostic tests using specialized equipment.
• Prepare comprehensive diagnostic reports based on evaluation findings.
• Provide treatment including ear canal cleaning, fitting hearing aids and assistive devices, and cochlear implant support.
• Conduct auditory training, speech and lip-reading instruction, and aural rehabilitation programs.
• Counsel patients and families on hearing conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting evaluations, progress, and treatments.
• Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices through continuing education.
