We are seeking a full-time audiologist to deliver diagnostic and rehabilitative services, including evaluations, tinnitus management, cochlear implant considerations, and hearing aid fitting.

Formación

• Doctorate in Audiology and Arizona audiology license.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Proficient in diagnostics: audiometry, immittance, and speech-in-noise testing.
• Experience with hearing aid programming, verification and counseling.
• Earmold impressions experience.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations and tinnitus assessments.
• Perform diagnostics: audiometry, immittance, and speech-in-noise testing.
• Program, verify, and counsel on hearing aid fitting and use.
• Take earmold impressions and assist with cerumen management.
• Collaborate with physicians and team; participate in continuing education.

Arizona Hearing Specialists, LLC, is hiring a full-time audiologist for our growing practice. Arizona Hearing Specialists (AHS) has been serving Tucson, Green Valley and the surrounding Southern Arizona communities since 1981. AHS has a reputation for creating personalized treatment plans for each patient. We pride ourselves in providing a full range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services to our community, while promoting an atmosphere of compassion and dignity. Our practice, with 5 locations, offers a full range of diagnostic and preventative hearing healthcare services including: comprehensive hearing evaluations, tinnitus evaluations and management, sound sensitivity management, cochlear implant evaluations and mapping, BAHA programming, small-group aural rehabilitation programs, hearing aid dispensing and maintenance, cerumen removal and custom hearing protection.

Requirements:

• Doctorate in Audiology
• Arizona audiology license
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and team members
• Adherence to audiology best-practices
• Must be proficient in the following clinical skills:
• Diagnostics including audiometry, immittance, and speech-in-noise testing.
• Selection and fitting of hearing aids, including programming, verification, and counseling
• Earmold impressions
• Preferred skills:
• Tinnitus evaluation and treatment
• Cochlear implant evaluation and counseling
