Job summary
Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) seeks a Clinical Athletic Trainer to assist in examination and treatment under physician direction and the Sports Medicine Program manager. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care across CHLA clinics and programs.
The role requires a CAATE-accredited degree, NATABOC certification, AHA BLS, and an NPI number, with at least 6 months ATC experience.
Qualifications
- 6+ months of ATC experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in the physician practice setting.
- Preferred: experience with children and adolescents as Athletic Trainer.
Responsibilities
- Assist in examination and treatment of patients under physician guidance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including physicians, PAs, PTs, MAs and RNs.
- Provide direct support to healthcare providers in CHLA's Sports Medicine program.
