Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) seeks a Clinical Athletic Trainer to assist in examination and treatment under physician direction and the Sports Medicine Program manager. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care across CHLA clinics and programs.
The role requires a CAATE-accredited degree, NATABOC certification, AHA BLS, and an NPI number, with at least 6 months ATC experience.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift; Schedule may vary and include evening and weekend coverage based on clinic and program needs.
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The primary role of the Clinical Athletic Trainer (ATC) is to assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the physician and/or Sports Medicine Program manager by performing the essential functions of the job. The position will collaborate with multi-disciplinary team and provide direct assistance to other medical providers such as physicians, advanced practice providers, physical therapists, medical assistants, and registered nurses in providing care for our patients at CHLA.
