Job summary

Shriners Children's is seeking an Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) to join our Sports Medicine Team in Louisiana. You'll work with clinicians, therapists, coaches, and community trainers to keep young athletes safe and active, on and off the field.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a focus on patient education, rehabilitation support, and sport-specific return-to-play planning. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a rehabilitative field and NATA certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a rehabilitative field and NATA certification required.
• Experience with pediatric populations preferred.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services in sports health and medicine clinics.
• Assist medical staff with injury education, crutch training, home exercise programs, and cast application.
• Participate in community outreach and public relations events promoting safety.
