Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health is seeking an Associate Therapist to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team in Brentwood, CA. The position features a $5,000 sign-on bonus and requires a master's or doctoral degree with state licensure requirements to conduct therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities include clinical documentation, patient safety, group therapy, assessments, and discharge planning. The schedule is Tuesday–Saturday 9–5, with on-site work and an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in relevant field is required.
• Completion of state requirements to conduct therapeutic interventions is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures clinical documentation is completed timely throughout the course of treatment.
• Establish therapeutic rapport with patients and families.
• Facilitates admission assessments and the admission process for new patients.
• Maintains a caseload of 5-6 RTC and 10-15 OP patients.
• Conducts therapy sessions and family sessions as scheduled.
• Provides utilization reviews to insurance companies for authorizations.
• Performs discharge planning and ensures follow-up care arrangements.
