Center For Discovery in Plano, TX is seeking an Associate Therapist to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team within our Clinical Model. You will ensure patient safety, lead psychoeducational and process-oriented therapy groups, conduct assessments, and manage casework.

The role requires a Master’s or Doctorate and state requirements to conduct therapeutic interventions, with on-site work Sundays–Thursdays 9am–5pm.

Formación

• Master's or Doctorate degree in relevant field is required.
• Completion of state requirements to conduct therapeutic interventions is required.
• Operates under supervision and is not licensed.
• Must obtain CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain CPR, AED, and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must possess a current driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure clinical documentation is completed timely throughout treatment.
• Establish therapeutic rapport with patients and families/loved ones.
• Facilitates admissions and the admission process for new patients.
• Participates in weekly treatment team and communicates weekly treatment goals.
• Completes the required number of therapy sessions weekly for patients, including family sessions.
• Facilitates process-oriented and psychoeducation groups daily.
• Provides utilization reviews to insurance companies for authorizations.
• Assesses patients for suicidality and danger to self or others.
• Begins discharge planning on day of admission and completes discharge sessions.
