Qualifications

• DDS (or equivalent dental degree) required.
• PhD in a relevant field (e.g., epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or biomedical sciences).
• Experience teaching statistics and epidemiology.
• Demonstrated record of mentoring resident or graduate research.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate-level biostatistics and epidemiology to dental residents.
• Develop and update curricula integrating evidence-based dentistry and clinical research methods.
• Provide research training for dental residents and dental students.
• Mentor pediatric dentistry and orthodontic residents in study design, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.
• Supervise MS theses, capstone projects, and scholarly publications.
• Oversee curriculum development, admissions processes, accreditation compliance, and continuous program improvement.
• Maintain an active research agenda, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, and pursue external funding.
