Job summary

Howard University seeks an experienced Clinical Associate Professor to lead teaching, clinical activities, and resident mentorship within the Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontic programs. You will guide biostatistics, epidemiology, and research methodology education for dental residents.

The role emphasizes scholarly activity, curriculum development, accreditation compliance, and collaboration with faculty across departments to advance the College of Dentistry's research mission.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate-level biostatistics and epidemiology to dental residents.
• Develop and update curricula integrating evidence-based dentistry and clinical research methods.
• Provide research training for dental residents and dental students.
• Mentor pediatric dentistry and orthodontic residents in study design, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.
• Supervise MS theses, capstone projects, and scholarly publications.
• Serve as liaison for the development of MS degree programs in Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontic Dental Research.
