Job summary

EGA Associates is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to serve as a Clinical Associate at a Primary Care Community Based Outpatient Clinic serving Veterans primarily residing in and around Idabel and McCurtain County, Oklahoma. The Clinical Associate supports patient-centered care, care coordination, and efficient clinic workflow as a member of the Patient Aligned Care Team.

The pay rate is $21.95 to $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Current, full, active LPN license in Oklahoma.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to complete VA and EGA credentialing, background screening, training, and onboarding requirements.
• Knowledge of basic patient care, medical terminology, aseptic technique, infection control, confidentiality, and clinical documentation.
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary, team-based outpatient environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use electronic health records, telehealth platforms, and standard computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and care to assigned patients consistent with LPN licensure and the approved clinical statements.
• Collaborate with PACT staff to develop comprehensive health care and care-management plans.
• Manage clinic workflow and ensure patients are placed in examination rooms in a timely manner.
• Provide direction to patients as they move through the clinic environment.
• Perform basic patient-care services and specialized clinical support skills within scope of practice.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient-care services and duties supporting efficient delivery of patient-centered care.
• Support laboratory and point-of-care activities, including finger-stick or venous PT/INR collection, when trained and assigned.
