Job Description

The Department of Physician Assistant Studies invites applications for a clinical-track faculty position. The department's mission is to develop leaders in PA practice who deliver empathetic, patient-centered care and promote inclusivity.

Teaching Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction across didactic, clinical, and research semesters, including courses in physical examination, diagnostic modalities, and simulation activities.
• Assess student performance, identify deficiencies, and develop remediation strategies.
• Maintain instructional materials and ensure course content is available on learning management systems.

Faculty Program Responsibilities

• Participate in program committees and governance.
• Engage in scholarly projects and faculty development.
• Represent the department in admissions and community events.
• Contribute to curriculum development and accreditation efforts.

Administrative Duties

• Coordinate student orientation and academic scheduling.
• Review and update student handbooks and course syllabi.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards.

Qualifications
