The Department of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences within the School of Public Health and Health Professions invites applicants for a full-time, 10-month Clinical Assistant Professor position in our Nutrition Program. This is a clinical faculty position to begin in August 2027.
The Department of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences is a dynamic, research driven academic unit within the School of Public Health and Health Professions. Faculty and students collaborate across well established research programs supported by excellent facilities and a wide range of academic offerings—from undergraduate degrees in Exercise and Nutritional Sciences to advanced MS and PhD programs. The Department offers a BS in Exercise Science, a BS in Nutritional Sciences, a BS/MS in Exercise Nutrition, an MS in Clinical Nutrition leading to the Registered Dietitian credential, an MS degree in Athletic Training, MS degrees in Nutrition and Exercise Science and PhD degrees in Exercise Science and Nutrition.
A signature feature of the department is the Center for Research and Education in Special Environments (CRESE), a state of the art facility that enables cutting edge research at altitude, underwater, and in extreme temperatures.
