Job summary

iHealth's Almara Women's Health | OGI clinic is seeking a Clinical Assistant to provide patient care, assist with diagnostic tests and treatments ordered by physicians, and support pre/post procedure activities.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday with 8-hour shifts at Edina, with occasional Saturday morning and holiday coverage at Maple Grove. Strong communication and direct patient care are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Diploma or equivalent as Medical Assistant or related certification preferred but not required.
• 1-2 years of recent medical clinic experience preferred.
• Superior communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Escort patient to room, obtain vitals and document history.
• Prepare room for visit types.
• Assist with pre/post op appointments and procedures.
• Provide patient education pamphlets as requested.
• Process referrals and schedule
• Assist with informed consent forms and route to Medical Records.
• Handle calls for patient health issues and relay to appropriate staff.
• Place prescriptions and refills after provider review.
