Qualifications

• 1 year clerical/customer service experience, ideally in healthcare
• Experience with third party payors and data input in medical records is preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required at time of hire

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient examinations or treatments under supervision
• Document provider/patient interactions in the medical record (scribe duties)
• Observe and report patients' signs or symptoms; participate in performance improvement projects
• Support patient care team and coordinate care activities
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff
• Assist with test scoring and with report documentation
