Reports To: Clinical Services Manager

Salary:

• LPN: $21.65 - $31.96 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
• CMA: $20.40 - $29.61 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Summary

Provide and prioritize patient care in the clinic setting under the direction of the RN and/or Medical Providers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather patient data, administer medications, measure vital signs, and assist Providers with patient care.
• Prepare for patient visits using automated medical records.
• Maintain infection control, fire, safety practices, and performance improvement standards.
• Complete Medical Providers' orders.
• Receive patient pre/post visit and organize exam rooms.
• Consider age-related factors in care for patients of all ages.
• Implement quality assurance standards for accreditation.

If Assigned Scribe Duties

• Document provider work based on observation and provider directives.
• Enter and release orders in the electronic medical record as communicated by the provider.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program or Certified Medical Assistant; EMR experience preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Current LPN license in Minnesota or CMA certification, with BLS certification.

Physical Demands

Requires standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, and hearing. Occasionally sitting, climbing, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Must have close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision.
