Job summary

The Center for Disability Services seeks Clinical Assistants to join our agency. Openings are available at multiple locations throughout the Capital Region.

Rate of pay is commensurate with experience and program needs, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include assisting in daily treatment and care, supporting independence, and participating in interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement individualized services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of work experience with Developmental Disabilities.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply; able to lift 50 pounds.
• OPWDD Medication Administration, First Aid/ CPR, and SCIP-R certifications must be completed within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily treatment, care, and services to promote independence.
• Serve as part of individuals’ planning and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assist in implementing individualized residential habilitation services.
• Respect personal choices, lifestyles, and dignity to take informed risks.
