Job summary

The successful candidate will assist in providing treatment and care, promoting independence, and respecting personal choices and dignity. Openings are available in multiple locations in the Capital Region.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Valid NYS driver’s license in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and promoting independence in daily treatment and care.
• Serving in planning and interdisciplinary teams.
• Implementing individualized residential habilitation services.

Skills

Experience with Developmental Disabilities

First Aid/CPR Certification

SCIP-R Certification

Effective communication

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Associates Degree preferred
