Job summary

10 Center for Disability Svcs Inc is seeking Clinical Assistants to join our agency with openings at multiple locations throughout the Capital Region. Rate of pay is commensurate with experience, residential program acuity, shift differentials, and completion of additional trainings.

You will assist in daily treatment and care, participate in planning and interdisciplinary teams, and support the implementation of individualized residential habilitation services while respecting personal choice

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s Degree preferred.
At least 1 year of work experience with developmental disabilities required.
Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must have a valid NYS driver’s license in good standing.
OPWDD Medication Administration Certification, First Aid/CPR Certification, and SCIP‑R Certification must be completed within the first three months of employment.

Responsibilities

Assist, provide, and promote independence in daily treatment, care, and services of the people we support.
Serve as a member of the individuals’ planning, implementation, and interdisciplinary teams.
Assist in the implementation of individualized residential habilitation services.
Respect individuals’ personal choice, lifestyles, and dignity to take informed risks.
