Job summary

Center for Disability Services in the Capital Region seeks Clinical Assistants to support individuals in residential programs. Openings are at multiple Capital Region locations with pay commensurate to experience, program acuity, and trainings completed.

Responsibilities include promoting independence, participating in planning and interdisciplinary teams, and assisting with individualized residential habilitation while respecting residents’ choices and dignity. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required; Associates Degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of work experience with Developmental Disabilities required.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position.
• Must have a valid NYS driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assisting, providing and promoting independence in the daily treatment, care and services of the people we support.
• Serve as members of the individuals’ planning, implementation and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assisting in the implementation of individualized residential habilitation services
• Respect the individuals’ personal choice, lifestyles and their dignity to take informed risks.
