Job summary

Mercy Plus is seeking a Clinical Assistant to support clients under supervision of a BCBA or clinical leader. This role is a bridge between fieldwork completion and BCBA/BCaBA certification, offering hands-on ABA experience beyond technician tasks.

You will help with assessments, data collection, documentation, and treatment programming while developing advanced clinical skills and collaboration with families and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Completed fieldwork hours toward BCBA or BCaBA certification.
• Strong understanding of ABA principles and ethics.
• Experience providing ABA services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA services and support client treatment plans.
• Assist with assessments and clinical data collection.
• Support data analysis and treatment programming.
• Gain exposure to behavior plan development and implementation.
• Assist with clinical documentation and treatment updates.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, technicians, families, and center leadership.
• Support technicians with implementation of clinical programs.
• Participate in supervision, mentorship, and clinical development.
• Build the skills and confidence needed to transition into a BCBA or BCaBA role.
