Job Description: The University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD) is recruiting a full-time, clinical track faculty position in the Department of Orthodontics at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank. UFCD is one of the leading dental schools in the United States devoted to improving and promoting oral health throughout Florida, the nation, and worldwide through excellence in teaching, research, patient care, and service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical and didactic teaching of predoctoral (DMD) students and orthodontics residents.
  2. Participation in research/scholarly activity and intramural clinical practice.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. DDS, DMD, or equivalent dental degree.
  2. Completion of an advanced, CODA accredited training program in orthodontics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Board certified or board eligible candidates with previous teaching experience.
  2. Ability to conduct innovative and impactful research in orthodontics.
  3. Ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals and mentor residents in their research projects.
