Job summary

Essentia Health is offering Clinical Assistant Apprenticeship opportunities, with on-the-job training and classroom learning. Apprentices will work under mentors to support patient care from newborns to the elderly and prepare for CCMA certification after completing the program.

Positions are in pediatrics and urgent care, with shift times from 7:30AM to 5:30PM and options for 32–40 hours per week. Eligible candidates may pursue a robust benefits package and professional development.

Qualifications

• CCMA Board Certification is required after completing the apprentice education program and meeting the on the job hours requirement
• BCLS certification is required, or obtainable within 3 months

Responsibilities

• Assist RN, Physician and other providers with direct patient care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly
• Work with mentors/preceptors to learn Clinical Assistant duties and review classroom materials
